With a genuine welcome and eagerness to show newcomers around, your reassuring nature and servant heart is needed. The highlights of this role’s duties include greeting people as they enter with a welcoming smile and walking first-time guests to the auditorium and looking for opportunities to connect people within the church

Usher

As an usher, you set the tone for the worship experience by maintaining an atmosphere where life-change through Christ can happen, distraction free. Your job includes: walking through the auditorium for cleanliness before and after service, set-up ropes to control seating, put out the Connection Cards and envelopes pre-service and collect them after service, hang signs on doors & chairs. You’ll get to greet people in the auditorium and direct them to available seats, remove ropes and open additional seating as needed, take the offering and hand off buckets to the Count Team. On the first Sunday of every month, you’ll get to assist with communion. Be attentive to your duties during praise & worship by keeping your eyes open and being aware of people entering.

Hospitality

Personally, when you invite guests to your home for dinner, you truly take care of them – opening the door with excitement, serving a delicious meal, making them feel comfortable, laughing and engaging in conversation.  In serving with the Hospitality Team, the coffee station becomes a dwelling place, of sorts; your own home.  It becomes a meeting place for you and the guests, who may be hurting or in need. You have the same opportunity in serving here to love on, speak life into, and bless many.

All services, twice a month.
